OLIVER MARSON FLOWERS OF EVIL

The latest art pop cut from Oliver Marson is his kaleidoscopic new single, ‘Flowers Of Evil’. It’s a shimmering, off-kilter composition that takes influence from the likes of Pulp and Alex Cameron, resulting in an inventive instrumental topped by his signature croon and satirical lyrics. “It’s a song that comes from the heart about getting older and running out of time,” he says. “It’s about wanting a change, but being stuck in the same loop. About desiring an escape, but coming back to the same centre.” The track is taken from his keenly awaited debut album, Why Did I Choose This?, which drops on October 6th, 2023. -Dan Peeke
